AAPhysics for Windows
Live classes on a laptop or desktop.Same account, same classes as the Android app.
Download
Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit.
The Windows app is not available for download yet.
Installing: what Windows will say
Windows shows a warning for apps from any publisher who has not bought a signing certificate. We have not, on purpose. The download is safe when it comes from this page, and the checksum above lets you check the file.
- 1
Your browser may say the file “isn’t commonly downloaded”.
Choose Keep. In Edge, open the downloads list, click the three dots on the file and choose Keep, then Keep anyway.
- 2
Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”.
Click More info, then Run anyway. The publisher shows as “Unknown publisher”; that is what an unsigned app looks like.
- 3
The app installs in a few seconds and opens.
Sign in with the Google account you enrolled with. Your browser opens for the sign-in and brings you back to the app.
On a new Windows 11 PC: Smart App Control
Some new PCs have Smart App Control switched on. It blocks unsigned apps with no “Run anyway” button. To install, open Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control settings and choose Off. Windows only lets you switch it off once; it cannot be switched back on without reinstalling Windows. If you would rather not, use the Android app on a phone or tablet instead.
Good to know
- One account, one class at a time.If you open a class on your phone and then on the PC, the app asks whether to move it.
- Classes cannot be recorded or screen-shared, and pause while a screen recorder or remote-control program is running.Every class carries a faint code that identifies the session.Remote Desktop is not supported.
- The app updates itself. When an update is ready it asks you to restart.
